Cardiovascular Technologists help doctors in diagnosing and treating heart disease.There are three fields a person can specialize in invasive cardiology, echocardiography, and vascular technology. Most jobs for the profession are found at hospitals with the rest in laboratory or doctor’s offices. Job growth is expected to be faster than average for the occupation. Qualities that make a good cardiovascular technologist are reliability, pleasant manner, and ability to follow detailed instructions. Short term training in a health care environment makes a great job.
